Beautiful Arab Women 2

Beautiful Arab Women 2

Here is my second Hub devoted to beautiful Arab women.
Once again it is mainly singers and actresses, but who's complaining?
Karima Adebibe
Karima Adebibe was born on February 14 (Valentines Day!) 1985 in Bethnal Green, London, England.
Even though she's technically an English actress and model, she is of Moroccan, Irish and Greek descent.
And on top of that, she was the seventh Lara Croft model so hey, she deserves recognition.
Karima really dove into her role, taking martial arts training and the whole nine yards, just to portray Lara on TV spots.
Alas, this lovely young lady retired from the Lara Croft role in 2008 (she was succeeded by Alison Carroll).
Besides being a video game icon, Karima has a small role in 2004's Alien Vs Predator.

Amal Hijazi
Lebanese singer, model and pop icon Amal Hijazi was born on February 20, 1977 in Beirut, Lebanon.
Amal started out as a fashion model, then began a singing career, releasing her first album, Akher Gharam in 2001.
The album was very successful and she released her second album, Zaman in 2002.
She has released a total of five albums, the latest being Keef el Amar in 2008.
Although Amal is very popular, seems to run into trouble with other Arabic singers like Elissa, Nancy Ajram and Nawal Al Zoghbi.
And she managed to get herself banned in Kuwait.

Nicole Saba
Nicole Saba is a Lebanese singer and actress who was born on June 26, 1974 in Beirut, Lebanon.
She has released on album (Ya Shaghilny) and over twelve singles.
Besides singing, she has appeared in three movies, El Tagroba Al Denemarkeya (2003), Tomn Dastet Ashrar (2006) and Kesit El Hai El Sha'aby (also in 2006).

Sofia Marikh
The beautiful Sofia Marikh was born on October 15, 1982 in Casablanca, Morocco.
She is a singer and entertainer and she has released her first album, Kelmet Hobb and eight singles.

May Hariri
Lebanese Singer May Hariri was born on December 24, 1972 in South Lebanon.
May has been described as the most beautiful woman in Lebanon.
Without seeing all the women in Lebanon, I can neither confirm or deny this, but I think she may come pretty darn close.
Her first album Hassahar Oyounou was released in 2004. This was followed by Habibi Inta in 2006 and Omr Tany in 2008.

Elissa
Elissar Zakaria Khoury was born on October 27, 1972 in Deir el Ahmar, Lebanon.
She is one of the most well-known female singers in the Arab world and one of the best selling female artists in the Middle East.
Elissa has been nicknamed the "Queen Of Romance" and the "Queen Of Feelings".
In 2005 she became the first Lebanese musician to win World Music Award and in 2006, she won for the most best selling albums in Middle East.
And while I pointed out earlier that Amal Hijazi had trouble with her, let me also point out that Elissa herself has gotten into it with not only Amal, but Haifa Wehbe and Nawal Al Zoghbi also.
Can't we all just get along?
Elissa has released six albums starting with 1999's Baddi Doub and thirteen music videos.

Carole Samaha
Lebanese musician and actress Carole Samaha was born on July 25th, 1972 in Beirut, Lebanon.
Carole has released three albums, "Helm" (A Dream), "Ana Hurra" (I Am Free) and Adwa'a ElShohra (The Lights Of Fame).
She also appeared on Lebanese artist, Marwan Khoury's album, Ana wlleil.

Marwa
I can't end this Hub without at least mentioning Marwa.
I don't have a lot of info on her, but I really think she deserves to be on a Hub with the most beautiful Arab women.
I do know that she has released two albums, Ama Naeema and Sheil Eidak, but that's about it.

Gharame
And before I really do end the Hub, I have to throw in a picture of a total knockout that I know absolutely nothing about other than her name....Gharame.
But she's another I just had to put in here.
